Gruesomes
Also called Bloodsome, Bloodsomes
Greensomes turned upside down. Both of you drive, but the other side decides which ball you play — and they won't pick the good one.

How it works
- 1Both partners tee off.
- 2Your opponents choose which drive you must play — usually the worse one.
- 3The player whose drive wasn't chosen plays the next shot.
- 4Alternate from there until it's holed.
Good to know
Best played as matchplay between two pairs, so there's always someone choosing.

Allowances follow the World Handicap System recommendations used by Golf Ireland. Your club or society may set its own — the entry sheet wins.
