Modified Stableford
Also called Pro Stableford
Stableford turned aggressive, as played on tour. Birdies pay well and bogeys cost you, so it rewards going for it.

How it works
- 1Score each hole: albatross +8, eagle +5, birdie +2, par 0, bogey −1, double bogey or worse −3.
- 2Usually played on gross scores; some societies use net.
- 3Add up the points — a total below zero is possible.
Good to know
Agree the points table on the first tee — some versions use +3 for eagle and −2 for double bogey.

Allowances follow the World Handicap System recommendations used by Golf Ireland. Your club or society may set its own — the entry sheet wins.
