Scotch Foursomes
Also called Foursomes, Alternate shot
In Ireland and Britain, Scotch foursomes is simply foursomes: one ball, alternate shots, alternate tees. Some clubs use the name for a version where both players drive — check the competition rules.

How it works
- 1Partners take turns to drive — one the odd holes, one the even.
- 2Then alternate shots with the one ball until it's holed.
- 3If your club plays the both-drive version, it's played as greensomes from the tee.
