A pairs game that punishes a blow-up hole hard, because your scores become one number.

How it works

  1. 1On each hole, put each pair's two scores together, lower first: a 4 and a 5 make 45.
  2. 2The difference between the two pairs' numbers is the points won: 45 v 56 is 11 points.
  3. 3Optional: a birdie flips the other pair's number, high first.
  4. 4Most points after 18 wins.

Good to know

A 10 or more goes first: a 4 and a 10 make 104. Ouch.
